Quite a few events coming up, which I’d have put here before if I was less disorganised. Do come along if you’re able/ minded…
On Wednesday (24th, 10am), I’ll be talking Sarn Helen things with Jackie Morris at Chipping Campden Literature Festival. This is the only event we’re actually doing together – as plans stand anyway – and Jackie is always terrific.
At Hay Festival, I’ll be doing a couple of these Wayfaring Walks – one along the river (Sunday 28th), the other up the hill (Sunday 4th).
On Monday 29th, I’ll be talking Sarn Helen and the Edge of Cymru with Julie Brominicks and Horatio Clare, then chairing Gaia Vince’s event about climate migration at 5:30.
On Saturday June 3rd, 1pm, I’ll be talking to Mark Drakeford about “Wales: Where do we go from here?”. That’s only just been sorted out, but tickets will go on sale soon. He will be fantastic, I’m sure. I will be experiencing my first public conversation with a politician, and it’s with the First Minister, so it’s likely to be very steep learning curve. The curve will continue at 5pm in Hay Castle. A Green Wales: What Next? will be with Lee Waters, the Deputy Climate Minister, and Sophie Howe, the first Future Generations Commissioner.
After that, I am going to… well, do that Wayfaring Walk in the morning, but after that curl up into a very small heap and stay there for a day or two. Or maybe do some writing. Anyway. Please come along.
